River Oaks

River Oaks is a wonderful community located about five minutes from Carolina Beach and about five minutes from the shopping and dining at Monkey Junction.  This subdivision boasts many custom homes from about 2500 to 5000 sq feet. Most of the lots are ½ acre to 1 ½ acres so the homes are not right on top of each other. There is a good mix of residents from young  professionals to retirees . The neighborhood is quiet with very little traffic and there are always people walking the streets or riding their bikes or golf carts. Most of the residents know each other and it is not unusual to find cookouts with eight or ten families socializing on the weekends. There are a lot of mature trees and natural areas here and most of the homes blend right in. This is truly a great place to live or retire.
